LONDON A fox bit off more than it could chew when it strayed into a residential yard in southern England -- and was attacked by a nine Mexican Chihuahuas, according to a report Saturday, DPA reported. Three of the little defenders fought a valiant battle to the death before the intruder turned bushy tail and retreated with six yiping Chihuahuas in pursuit. "We heard lots of barking and knew something was wrong," toy dog breeder Wendy Streatfield of Surrey told the daily ***Mirror***. "We went outside and saw the fox running away. One dog had been killed and another was missing. Later we found another one lying injured in its basket. We rushed it to the vet but there was nothing they could do and it died the next day."
